The Second Annual PEI Business Summit takes place Tuesday, April 7th, bringing Island business leaders together to learn, share, and plan for what’s next. 

Building on the momentum of our inaugural year, the 2026 summit is designed to spark new ideas, strengthen connections, and equip decision-makers with the clarity and confidence to navigate change.

This year’s keynote speakers, Andrew Coyne and Suzanne Knight, will provide context on the political and economic pressures affecting business and productivity in our region, along with practical guidance on adopting technology and AI to strengthen performance.

Andrew Coyne

Andrew Coyne, a renowned Canadian columnist, is a catalyst for action, motivating audiences to transcend their perceived limitations and unlock their untapped potential. An advocate for democratic reform, Coyne has played a pivotal role in shaping public opinion on electoral changes. His focus on promoting a more representative and accountable system has influenced political debates at both the federal and provincial levels. 

Coyne's contributions extend beyond his columns, as he engages in public debates and panel discussions, bridging the gap between academic discourse and public understanding. Coyne's influential writings have also been captured in his books, such as "The Uncertain Revolution," exploring the complexities of constitutional reform in Canada. Suzanne Knight, MA, MBA

Suzanne Knight is an award-winning global keynote speaker, transformation executive, and Founder and CEO of mBolden, a Toronto-based consulting firm that helps organizations turn bold strategy into measurable results in complex, regulated, and people-intensive environments. She has led and advised transformation across 80 organizations in 14 countries and is a recipient of Digital Media Zone’s Women of the Year Award and The Peak’s Emerging Leaders Award.

Suzanne is recognized for her expertise at the intersection of leadership, digital transformation, and AI adoption. As Vice President, Transformation Services at Walmart Canada, she led enterprise-wide business agility and digital and efficiency transformation across a 90,000-employee organization, redesigning operating models, accelerating decision-making, and strengthening execution discipline. 

Suzanne brings deep expertise in organizational design and large-scale change from previous leadership roles at Deloitte Consulting, the Ontario Public Service, and Philip Morris International. She has taught executive education at the Schulich School of Business for more than a decade and serves on the AI Powered Futures Committee for the Coalition of Innovation Leaders Advancing Respect, advising on responsible AI and the future of work.
